Fridge Rules

IF YOU ARE TAKING FOOD:

  • Take what you need; leave what you don’t for your neighbors.

  • Respect the space and leave it as clean as possible.

  • Throw all trash into a nearby trash can.

  • Please leave any organizational bins or appliances placed for community use.

IF YOU ARE DROPPING OFF DONATIONS:

  • Neatly organize your donations on the pantry and fridge shelves.

  • For prepared food: label all contents, specifically allergens, and include the preparation date.

  • Respect the space and leave it as clean as possible. Clean visible dirt in the fridge and break down boxes.

  • If your donation exceed the capacity of the of the fridge, please do not leave them on the ground. Reach out to us or go to another fridge location.

VOLUNTEER DUTIES:

  • Toss out any unlabeled, opened or expired goods.

  • Clean visible dirt in the fridge or on the pantry shelves.

  • Break down boxes.

  • Take out the trash, if full.

  • A good rule to follow is that if you wouldn’t eat it or be comfortable taking food, then it is not clean enough!
